My Dream: 1/15/06

I meet my daughter and her mother at a parade with many fireworks. I’m with another child I should be familiar with, but is stranger in reality. As my daughter passes she says, “Hi Poppie!”
I Love this child more than anyone, more than anything. But I felt as if I hadn’t seen her for a very long time, maybe years. Therefore, I turn and ask her mother if I can walk with them to their car, she agrees and allows it. As we are walking the very long distance I begin the following conversation with my daughter (who is speaking well beyond her years and is incredibly polite):
“I had a dream last night sir.”
“Yeah…….What about?”
“About the Devil…... You know he loves his wife dearly?”
“He does...Am I the Devil?” I ask feeling extremely guilty.
“No sir.”
“Did he look like me?”
“Of course not……..Don’t be silly.” She answers with a wry smile.
“So he loves her huh?”
“He is very deeply devoted to her.” She says with a serious thoughtful expression.
“What does the Devil sound like?” Still thinking it is me.
“Happy!”
We then follow a path that only my daughter knows, I can see her mother in the distance as we staggered behind at my behest. She then stops and stands in front of me and says:
“This is as far as you can go sir.”
“Why?........I’d like to walk with you until the end and please call me Daddy.”
I then begin to have emotions well up in me that seem real, I drop to my knees kiss her hands as she answers:
“Okay………Daddy.” As a sincere smile curls her lips.
I wake up at this point with all the emotion of this moment fading into consciousness. With the thoughts and feelings that I miss her dearly, and it was a pathetic attempt in my dream to show her how I missed her.
What does this mean?
Both my emotional dream and her dream within my dream?
Does this mean the devil isn’t just evil?
Simply blinded by love?
Does he have children too?
Is this the essence of evil?
Love?
I am an idolater!
